My Name is Julie and I have spent all but the first year and a half of my life in the Pacific northwest. My world is quite small if you measure it by the fact that I rarely go farther than to work or the grocery store. Some, including myself have said boring. I guess it would depend on what you are entertained by.
If I had the means and the way I would like to travel…..a little. Mostly I am a home-body who craves the security of my own home. My ideal place doesn’t involve a lot of people, unless it’s Disneyland, and then it is worth swimming in a sea of humanity in order to experience it. Mostly I crave an experience filled with colorful creativity, quiet places to read and write, and the company of my family and pets.
I love to paint with watercolor or acrylics, getting my hands dirty with sealer and torn paper, and dreaming up miniature worlds to build with painted rocks.
In my personal pursuit of happiness I have had to make some hard choices to decide what really matters to me. Life has a tendency to drift to the side like a bad tire in need of alignment. In order to keep my disposition in alignment, I write and paint in my art journal. I invite you to come and join me.
